BIKE AND ROAD MAP OF SOUTH COUNTY

This fine map shows all major and minor roads that are suitable for bicycling in Washington County (more popularly known as South County) in southern Rhode Island. Printed on tear resistant, waterproof Hop Syn paper, it measures 26.25 inches (66.7 cm) wide by 23 inches (58.4 cm) tall, and when folded is 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) wide by 5.75 inches (14.6 cm) tall. Included are symbols showing steep hills, symbols for scenic and hazardous sections of roads, and the mileage between the intersections of all roads. The region covered by this map stretches from Narragansett Bay on the east, the Atlantic Ocean on the south, Rt. 49 in Connecticut on the west, and Rt. 117 in Coventry, RI on the north. Towns covered by this map in Rhode Island are Narragansett, South Kingstown, Charlestown, Westerly, Hopkinton, Richmond, North Kingstown, Exeter, West Greenwich, and portions of East Greenwich and Coventry. In Connecticut, portions of the towns of Stonington, North Stonington, Voluntown, and Sterling are included. Also shown are individual maps for six scenic bike rides in Rhode Island, ranging in length from 11 to 23 miles.
